Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor, singer, and model currently represented by MYM Entertainment. Lee began acting in his sophomore year of high school and joined Starhaus Entertainment in his senior year. During his studies, Lee landed small roles in several television dramas.

Early in his career, Lee used his stage name Lee Ming because his agency thought his birth name was too common. However, because it was said and spelled the same as the Korean word for immigration, making it difficult to search online, he reverted to his birth name.

His breakthrough role, and the one he is best known for, came in 2009 when he landed the lead role of Goo Jung-pyo in Flower Boys. In 2021, he will star in the Apple TV+ drama Pachinko. He had to audition for the role for the first time in 13 years.

Lee entered the military on May 12, 2017, and was discharged on April 25, 2019. In August 2006, Lee was involved in a serious car accident while driving with actor Jung Il Woo, who was seriously injured in the accident.

In 2020, Lee was cast in the American Apple TV series Pachinko, based on Min Jin Lee's novel of the same name. The premiere of the series took place in March 2022.
